Vanessa progressing after surgery

Vanessa’s surgery went well despite a delicate and lengthy operation.

Doctors are pleased with the outcome and Vanessa is progressing well.

The focus now is on encouraging her to eat and drink a little more to help build her strength and support her recovery.

Her Dad Eno continues to be well supported by the Eastern Region team along with Marzieh and Eugene from the Timorese community, who have both been a wonderful support to Vanessa and Eno.

Vanessa is under the care of eye surgeon Associate Professor Krishna Tumuluri together with the Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery teams at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
