What to expect

How the referral process works

From medical review to specialist surgery, here's what we arrange for approved referrals.

01.

Submit a referral

Complete our referral form with the child's medical information and contact details. You'll receive confirmation within 48 hours that we've received your referral.

02.

Medical review

Our Medical Director reviews the case to see if it meets our medical acceptance criteria and if we can provide the treatment needed.

03.

Planning and approval

We find a suitable doctor and hospital. Following Board approval, we coordinate and cover costs for everything - medical appointments, travel, accommodation and host family support.

04.

Treatment and return home

The child receives specialist care at an appropriate hospital. After recovery, we arrange safe return home with ongoing support from local medical teams
